The Purpose of Problems

I have a problem. I know you might want to know what it is but I'll never tell you. (lowkey that might be the main problem but that's not the point of this article.) I have problems like anyone else and I would love to tell you I have an answer for all of them but honestly I don’t. Some problems are bigger than my knowledge and ability. My point is I don’t think that having a problem is ever really a problem. Think about flying on a plane. I don’t know if you know this but as humans, we were never meant to fly. We are physically not made for it. But planes take us up into the sky. As creatures that were never naturally created to fly we fly often and successfully. My point is that the problem of flight is no longer a problem.

I think the point of any problem is to find our purpose. I don’t think you should seek out problems. Life has enough problems without our help. I think we should seek purpose and problems will always come. Just think of how often we are able to fly today. Someone saw the problem of not being able to fly like the birds in the sky and thought of a purpose for themselves. Problems promote purpose. Problems don’t create purpose. People create purpose when they finally decide to effect problems. Part of using your purpose is to understand how to deal with your problems. The Wright brothers continually tried to solve the problem of flight. The crazy thing is they never really got close to flying like we do today. But the problem promoted them to that purpose which leads us to how we fly today. How you see your problems will define how you see your purpose. People tend to see some problems as something that can’t be changed or dealt with. It doesn’t make them evil, it just means you lack purpose. Many people feel that they don’t have a purpose or a way to contribute to life. The point of purpose is not found in our possibilities but in our perspective of how we handle problems. The point of purpose is to reach out beyond yourself and grasp something bigger than you. Sadly most people are just trying to hang on to what they have or get a little more. The grind of 9-5 knows no purpose but to repeat itself. I’m not knocking a job. I work often but my point is work is not a purpose. Many people work, very few people live on purpose. So I might delve a little more into what i think on this issue but here is one thought from Jesus about how to live on purpose. Jesus tells the crowd to love your neighbor as yourself. I think that's important because self-love is a reflection of your love for others. Some people have no compacity to love people mentally because they never love themselves in that way. You should consider giving yourself time to think differently. Growing your emotional health, mental health, creative health, spiritual health, and physical health. To love your neighbor as yourself, you should learn to love the growth of yourself as much as possible. If you are short with yourself you would naturally be short with everyone else. Jesus understands that we all treat people out of the condition of our hearts. Luke 6:45 The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. What comes out of our hearts is the thing we love the most. We might hide it or let a few people slide but if you love the feeling of getting even then you will one day chop off some person's head to win an argument and probably kill their desire for conversation and growth. What you give time to on the inside of yourself will always come out in different ways. It might not be obvious. Most people think the way they love others is a matter of fact. But Jesus would say its a matter of your self-love. Take time to love the growth of yourself. Many people take the time to be entertained. I love it but it's not helping me to love others or love myself. The point of purpose always aims to something that needs to be changed. Jesus said that the good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good. In this bible verse, our purpose and aim are set with one thing in mind. What is good? Purpose seeks the good it can do. Some people think they will just naturally do good and naturally be right but that's not life. We must aim for the good we can do and love we can give. That’s living on purpose. Nothing replaces good. Nothing replaces God. If we are not aiming for God then we are aiming for ourselves to replace Him. That's just human nature to find purpose in ourselves and desires. You should know you have a purpose. I know you have a purpose because you have a problem. We all do. The absence of purpose is not found in the overwhelming conditions of our problems but in our inability to figure out to deal with the problems we face in everyday life. Jesus would say seek good. Whatever that looks like. You need to aim better to live better. So think about what you are aiming for in your life. How well do you love yourself? That will always decide how you love others. How well do you love your purpose? That will decide how you treat other people’s purpose as well. God bless and let me know what you think.

Anything you don’t invest in you will never take ownership of. Including yourself.
